So... yeah. I REALLY need photoshop, I hate paint omfg. This took around 2 hours and 50 minutes (bit precise, but ya) Only because I spent years trynna cover the shitty white bits paint leaves when you use fill. I have no idea wha colour Bob's eyes are. I guessed. From left: Bob, Mikey, Gee, Frank, Ray.

Photoshop will not make your digital art better especially if you dont know how to use it and dont have a tablet. I personally use Paint Tool Sai and sometimes I use Photoshop CS5, but really its not easy to draw in.

There are lots of completely free programs to try out.

Thanks! I need them more for the things that paint won't provide, as such as Gradient backgrounds, and neat shading tools. I have some GIMP 2 experience, but only on a friend's laptop, so I'll have to get used to it.

A word of caution. Gradient backgrounds can look sort of cheesy sometimes. It's best to envision a scene in your mind and paint it. Backgrounds can really set the tone, mood, personality or story. Use them to the best of your ability. :D Good luck with GIMP.

Thanks for the tips! The good thing about GIMP is that the overall quality of the artwork is a lot better, as when you use fill it doesn't leave white bits between the actual line and the filled in colour, whereas paint does :o I will use them well, thanks! :D
